Between my husband watching Sports Center most mornings and nights, listening to sports radio in the car, picking up ESPN and Sports Illustrated magazines, and planning itineraries for draft trips to Vegas, I seem to know a lot more about Fantasy Football than most wives.
My husband is truly 'the king' of Fantasy Sports. I stopped complaining about all of the time he spends researching his team once I realized that his winnings had become somewhat of a second income and that they were funding my trips to South Coast Plaza.
With another season of Fantasy Football rapidly approaching us, I began to wonder what a GET Fantasy Football team might look like. I enlisted my husband’s expert advice and hope you enjoy what we came up with.
Running Back: A running back is generally the fastest player on the offensive team. The Dodge Challenger has both the strength and power to make the cut for the GET Football Team.
Lineman: This is 'the beef' of the team. The Ram 2500 Diesel is the perfect fit. It has the ability to block and protect the players on the team. It's goal is to wear down the competition.
Wide Receiver: A wide receiver is an individualist and like to 'be free', just like the Jeep Wrangler. Creative, fun, enjoys open space and can get the job done under pressure.
Quarterback: A quarterback must be intelligent, a leader and have power all rolled into one. This is our Chrysler 300. The quarterback always gets the most awards and accolades, just like the most award winning car ever, the 300.
Linebacker: A linebacker must be able to fight with the big boys and run with the quick ones. Strong and Fast. The Ram 1500 is just that. It has brute strength to fight off the big boys and 390 horsepower to keep running with the fast ones.
Corner back: The corner back is small, quick and can re cooperate fast. The Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is the perfect fit.
Free Safety: Nothing gets past this one! Combining speed and strength, this is a sure fit for the Dodge Charger.
Tight End: This is a perfect fit for the Dodge Journey. It's a cross-over, the best of both worlds. A Tight End serves multiple purposes, in blocking and receiving. Just like the Journey has multiple purposes, capability to fit the whole family and still maintain a sporty look.
Don't worry, we didn't forget the coach or more importantly, the Cheerleaders.
Coach: A good coach knows everything and is great for everybody. This is our Chrysler Town & Country. Power, luxury, sophisticated, and the ability to multi-task.
Cheerleaders: A cheerleader gets everyones attention, is fun and flirty. This is our Jeep Patriot. Everyone likes it and it definitely gets a lot of attention!
Let's hope my husband can draft a Fantasy line-up like this one so I can take a few shopping trips and enjoy his winnings!
